The implementation of TROPOS, SSI’s fully integrated ERP system, will provide Bruichladdich with the supply-chain control necessary to support the company’s continued expansion – which saw it increase sales turnover by 40 per cent last year – and allow it to continue the impressive growth it has enjoyed since being founded in 2001. Bells of Lazonby will now, for the first time, have full visibility and control of each of its three lines of business through a single integrated solution, and aims to reduce its levels of held stock by up to 50 per cent. TROPOS will enable Matrix Polymers to improve the quality of its customer relationship management by automating many of its monitoring and reporting processes. Accrington-based Simon Jersey, a leading worldwide specialist in the design and supply of corporate wear uniforms to business and industry, first invested in Agility’s warehouse management software in October 2006, to help improve the speed and accuracy of its operations, transforming them from manual to entirely automatic. 26/07/2007	Agility Systems wins new contract with global motor corporation Suzuki Agility Systems has won a major contract to supply specialist software solutions to the UK distribution centre of global motor corporation, Suzuki. The new advanced Agility RF barcode warehouse system, which will be implemented during the next three to four months, is being installed at Suzuki’s parts distribution centre in Milton Keynes to improve the efficiency of the firm’s UK operations. Suzuki designs and manufactures a vast range of motor-powered vehicles, including automobiles, off-road bikes, and marine machines, retailing in dozens of countries across Asia, America, Europe and Africa. 19/04/2007	BrightHouse goes live with Agility Systems The first phase of an advanced data capture solution created by Agility Systems, has gone live at high-street retailer, BrightHouse. BrightHouse invested in Agility’s Movex-based system to help with warehouse management, process integration and accurate identification and location of stock. The solution, which uses an open Systems Microsoft .NET application suite to add functionality to Brighthouse’s Movex ERP system, successfully went live at key sites in Heywood, Bothwell, Birmingham and Cardiff, in January, following a six month implementation process. Employing more than 1,400 staff, BrightHouse has more than 150 outlets in the UK and sells a range of home electronic and domestic appliances, household furniture and other related products, mostly on credit. Agility Systems, a Chelford Group PLC company, specialises in warehouse efficiency, logistics and information management improvements for established ERP systems. Established in 1995, the firm implements these solutions to a wide range of clients all over the world. It also supplies warehouse optimisation solutions, efficiency monitoring and full transaction controls. Agility specialises in supply chain execution for other ERP systems including INFOR 21, JD Edwards and BPCS.
